Brazil said it would respond with reciprocal measures after President Trump threatened it with 50% tariffs, citing what he called unfair prosecution of former President Jair Bolsonaro. His latest curatorial choice is “The Grand Bizarre,” the acclaimed 2018 feature by animator Jodie Mack, screening July 18 and 19 at 9 p.m. on the Beltline-facing wall of 725 Ponce. Critics have called the film “a global symphony of strange codes and hidden patterns.” “The Grand Bizarre” is built frame-by-frame from footage shot in more than a dozen countries.
